Join our team as a Lead Fullstack Developer and take a key role in building a modern web platform using serverless architecture on AWS. We’re looking for an experienced engineer who can not only write high-quality code, but also lead technical discussions, make architectural decisions, and collaborate directly with the client. You’ll have real impact on the product, work with a capable and friendly team, and enjoy a flexible, long-term engagement.

💸 B2B: 160 - 200 PLN/h (part time - 80 hours per month)

Our requirements

Technical Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience in fullstack development
2. Proven ability to architect backend systems from the ground up
3. Frontend: Experience with React.js and Next.js
4. Backend: Strong knowledge of modern backend architecture, ideally serverless (AWS Lambda)
5. AWS ecosystem expertise (API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, MySQL, Cognito)
6. Database experience, especially with MySQL
7. Familiarity with Serverless Framework (nice to have)
8. Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs (GraphQL is a plus)

Soft Skills & Collaboration

1. Strong technical leadership mindset — comfortable leading discussions, making architecture decisions, and guiding other devs
2. Ability to present ideas to the client and take initiative on improvements
3. High level of ownership — we need someone who thinks ahead, not just executes tickets
4. Excellent English communication (written and verbal)

Availability & Workflow

1. ~80 hours per month (part-time, long-term)
2. Able to participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and regular client meetings
3. Will work closely with PM (Sabina) and frontend/backend devs
4. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, business-critical phase (peak user activity July–August)

Scope of responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain core features of a peer-to-peer gambling and betting platform
2. Lead backend architecture decisions, with a focus on serverless technologies
3. Implement and optimize frontend components using React.js and Next.js
4. Collaborate closely with other developers, the PM, and the client to shape technical direction
5. Ensure scalability, security, and performance of the platform — especially during high-traffic periods
6. Translate product requirements into clean, efficient, and testable code
7. Conduct code reviews and mentor other developers as needed
8. Take initiative in identifying areas for improvement and proactively suggesting solutions
9. Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and regular client meetings
