Project Manager
Benefit Systems International is part of the Benefit Systems capital group, and its operations focus on foreign markets. Within the so-called foreign segment, we are present in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Turkey, and Croatia. We oversee the development of subsidiaries and provide business, legal, and IT consulting services. The Project Management Department is responsible for managing changes in the systems and processes delivered by Benefit Systems International to its subsidiaries.
We are looking for a Project Manager with a background in business advisory or management consulting, combined with hands-on experience in IT-enabled business transformation projects.
You will operate at the intersection of business strategy, IT, and execution, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders while ensuring structured, disciplined, business-impact-driven project delivery across technology and business workstreams.
Responsibilities:
Lead strategic cross-functional projects across international markets, ensuring successful delivery from initiation through implementation and business adoption.
Manage projects involving multiple stakeholders, business units, and international teams, maintaining alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
Partner with C-level executives and senior business leaders, facilitating discussions, presenting recommendations, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Build trusted relationships with business and IT stakeholders across subsidiaries, acting as the key point of coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Translate business needs into structured project plans, governance models, and actionable delivery roadmaps.
Drive project governance by preparing Steering Committee materials, executive reports, status updates, and decision papers.
Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and implementation partners to ensure effective execution and timely delivery.
Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, dependencies, issues, and change requests.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance with internal governance, corporate policies, standards, and project management methodologies.
Support business process improvements and organizational change initiatives across international entities.
Promote a holistic approach to project delivery, balancing business value, operational impact, technology, and organizational readiness.
Report project progress, risks, and key decisions to the Head of PMO and executive stakeholders.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience managing complex business and/or IT projects within large international organizations or management consulting environments.
Previous experience in managing transformation initiatives across multiple organizational levels.
Experience working directly with C-level executives and senior leadership, including preparing and delivering executive presentations and facilitating decision-making workshops.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.
Ability to understand business strategy and translate it into executable project plans and technology initiatives.
Holistic approach to project management, considering business processes, technology, people, risks, and organizational change.
Experience coordinating distributed, multicultural teams and collaborating effectively across different countries and time zones.
Solid understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
Practical experience with Jira and Confluence.
Strong analytical thinking and excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to connect business and technology perspectives.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage audiences at both executive and operational levels.
Fluency in English and Polish, both written and spoken.
Would be a plus:
Knowledge of enterprise business applications and business processes, with experience in supporting digital transformation and system implementation initiatives.
