Data Engineer (Mid/Senior)

Benefit Systems International is part of the Benefit Systems capital group, operating in international markets. As part of the foreign segment, we are present in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Turkey, and Croatia. We oversee the development of our subsidiaries and provide business, legal, and IT consulting services.

Due to the international nature of Benefit Systems International's operations, a significant portion of the work is conducted in English.

Requirements:

1. Experience - 3 years and more
2. Expertise in Python – advanced knowledge of Python, including libraries like pandas, numpy, etc., and data processing tools.
3. Experience in PySpark – hands-on experience with Apache Spark and its integration with large-scale data processing systems.
4. Experience in Databricks - setting up workspaces, clusters, managing permissions, Unity Catalog
5. Experience with ETL and data pipelines – designing, implementing, and optimizing ETL processes in cloud or on-premises environments.
6. Experience with cloud platforms - Azure
7. Experience in Power BI - building and deploying reports, dashboards and datasets.
8. Basic understanding of DAX language
9. SQL proficiency – solid experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
10. Understanding of data architecture – knowledge of building data infrastructure and integrating multiple data sources across the organization.
11. Analytical skills – ability to solve complex problems and optimize data processing workflows.
12. Collaboration and communication skills – ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and communicate with various stakeholders.

About our recruitment process:

Our recruitment process consists of two stages – the first is technical (1h), and the second combines technical and soft skills assessment(1h). The interviews are conducted via MS Teams.
