VP, Lead Engineer - Global Treasury Python Solutions

Our client, a leading global bank, is seeking a skilled VP, Lead Engineer to design, build, and implement cutting-edge Python-based modelling solutions for their Global Treasury department in Poland.

Position Overview:

As the VP, Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing innovative Python-based modelling solutions and containerized solutions for the Global Treasury department, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and

compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable Python-based modelling solutions

• Develop and implement containerized solutions and CI/CD automations

• Create a robust, reusable coding environment

• Deliver automated solutions for agile model deployment

• Collaborate with stakeholders, Quantitative Analysts, and IT

• Implement strategic software solutions aligned with requirements

• Ensure smooth change management and system maintenance

• Build practical software solutions compliant with regulations

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience designing and building Python applications

• Expertise in at least three of: Python, FastAPI, Apache Airfow, S3, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker

• Experience with containerised solutions and CI/CD pipelines (GCP, Docker)

• Proficiency in writing and reviewing technical documentation

• Experience leading test-driven development

• Knowledge of finance, particularly quantitative finance (preferred)
