Azure Microsoft Platform/System Engineer (Senior)

We are searching for an Azure Microsoft Platform/system engineer

This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw, and you will join our Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory team. The team is in charge of identity and access handling for thousands of users in our Azure tenants and on-premise Active Directory, including SSO solutions, Entra ID connect synchronization and the security around the setup, i.e. conditional access policies.

This Azure Platform/system engineer role offers working with an exciting and complex environment with both classic and the newest technologies as well as we are looking into exciting projects by moving more and more services to the cloud. At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month. 

Primary task and responsibilities include:

• Participate in daily operation and maintenance of our Entra IDs in different tenants, including the surrounding systems like Entra ID Connect and ADFS
• From time to time participate in smaller projects about modernizing, optimizing and securing our Entra ID/Azure tenants
• From time to time participate in tasks and smaller projects helping our customers and other teams with i.e., SSO solutions
• Participate in compliance related tasks with focus on processes and documentation
• Sparring and knowledge sharing with colleges

To succeed you will have: 

• +3 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure based solutions
• Good experience with Microsoft Entra ID and identity and access management
• The willingness to work daily with operation and maintenance, including solving support tickets
• Good knowledge and curiosity within the security area
• Experience with SSO solutions
• Experience with PowerShell scripting
• A positive mind and willing to learn (fast)
• A structured approach with a good overview
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• The willingness to travel to DK once in a while
• Experience with working in a bigger organization

It’s nice-to-have:

• Experience with the ‘classic’ Microsoft on-premise Active Directory
• Experience working with Entra ID Connect and ADFS
• Experience with the M365 suite (Teams, Exchange Online, Office etc.)
• Experience working with Jira
