Join our client's team responsible for the development and maintenance of a leading card payment authorization and switching software suite. Our work also includes components for card management back office solutions and fraud detection.

We are seeking a Mid Application Developer skilled in modern C++ 17 to contribute to our integrated processing and software licensing solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing and extending interfaces and new payment protocols in alignment with the European Payment Scheme

• Configuring payment installations on customer needs

• Providing smoke tests and supporting test scenarios for your feature payment development

• Enhancing JSON and REST API functionalities

• Contributing to architectural improvements to transition to the cloud

• Develop software solutions for processing electronic payments based on the client’s software suite

• Design, configure, and install customer systems

• Collaborate with the Product Owner and Analysts to align on requirements

• Maintain and update technical documentation

• Design Unit Tests and build regression tests according to requirement specifications

• Share your expertise by mentoring other team members

• Provide analytical support during production incidents

Requirements:

• University degree (Master's/Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 3-4 years of experience in software development, great if within electronic payments

• Proficiency in object-oriented programming in C++ 17 (or similar OOP language), relational databases, SQL, and data modeling

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to abstract complex problems

• High motivation, efficiency, and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Proficiency in English is mandatory

• Proactive and self-reliant, with a curious and open-minded attitude
