IAM Architect

Be in IT is a recruitment company, specialised in sourcing Specialists from the information technology world. Currently, for our client, we are looking for someone in the position IAM Architect.

Your duties:

• Long-term collaboration in building and optimizing IAM architecture in a hybrid environment (Azure Entra ID and Active Directory) for projects requiring the highest level of data security and sovereignty.

• Consolidation of regulatory and normative requirements, such as BSI IT Baseline Protection (Grundschutz), C5, and ISO 27001, into a coherent IAM control framework.

• Developing and implementing IAM strategies, translating standards into specific policies, processes, and technical controls (Policy-as-Code, automation).

• Operationalizing secure-by-default solutions, including the implementation of MFA, Conditional Access, and recertification processes with auditable evidence.

• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, runbooks, and audit packages (Statement of Applicability, system and process evidence).

• Integration of applications (SSO/provisioning) according to the control framework and developing onboarding guides and checklists.

• Preparing compliance reports and dashboards (KPIs, control coverage, finding remediation status) for management, audit, and risk departments.

• Consulting and supporting Service Owners in implementing IAM standards compliant with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Several years of IAM experience, particularly with Azure Entra ID and Active Directory.

• Practical knowledge of security standards: BSI IT Baseline Protection (Grundschutz), C5, and ISO 27001 (in terms of ISMS, controls, and audits).

• Ability to translate catalog requirements into technical configurations and IAM processes.

• Experience in creating compliance reports, preparing audit evidence, and supporting certification processes.

• Knowledge of IGA/SoD (Identity Governance and Administration / Segregation of Duties) and risk management (ISO 27005).

• Very good command of German (C2 level) - mandatory due to project specifications and regulatory requirements.

• Knowledge of English at a B2 or C1 level - enabling smooth communication in an international environment.

• Availability to start ASAP is preferred; a maximum notice period of one month, effective at the end of the month, is acceptable.
