YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role Senior Software Engineer for Data Integration, you support business in building relevant technical solutions to solve their challenges. You will create solution architectures for data integration solutions, implement them and help transferring know-how to the product team. You will be responsible for the data integration part of a product form design until implementation.

You will be a member of a global agile software development team which closely collaborates with IT and Business Partners such as product managers and engineers. Join us on this exciting journey and become part of Bayer's digital transformation!

Support product teams and projects to select the right technologies for their specific data integration topics by collecting requirements concerning data integration and translating them to a technical solution
Work and engage with outstanding people (agile teams, IT experts, Business Partners and technical communities) across the organization
Design cloud native software to provide reliable and high-performance products ensuring code quality and modern test concepts
Automate integration and deployment of solutions (CI/CD)
Transfer your know-how about data integration solutions to product team members

WHO YOU ARE

You have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science with working experience or similar
You have 5-10 years experience software development (at least Java and Python)
You have experience in in cloud native software development on AWS or Azure
You have experience or willingness to learn about data integration technologies using APIs and streaming. Especially experience in Mulesoft Anypoint platform would be a big plus.
Broad understanding and experience regarding scripting and coding best practices and automation (CI/CD)
You are open-minded and enjoy working in a highly collaborative environment
You can easily build networks and trustful relationships
Your communication skills are very good, and you are fluent in English, both written and spoken
