Senior Data Analyst – Commercial

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Partner with business owners, product managers, data scientists, BI developers, and other stakeholders to understand analytics & AI products’ data requirements.

• Deliver relevant data for consumption in analytics & AI products, ensuring their quality and completeness.

• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and deliverables.

• Analyze complex data sets to extract actionable insights that inform product development and enhancement.

• Leverage business knowledge in commercial domain (customer, consumer, marketing, media, market and basic financial data) to provide context and recommendations that enhance product strategy.

• Apply insights and relevant data to help the product team enhance existing features and develop new ones.

• Create, support, and replicate scalable data structures, including table creation, reporting, and data visualizations to meet team needs.

• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify root causes, uncover interdependencies, forecast trends, and provide actionable insights.

• Extract, clean, and analyze data from various source systems to ensure high-quality, accurate reporting.

• Identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights to help stakeholders make data-driven decisions.

• Document processes, KPIs, and data models to foster knowledge sharing and team alignment.

• Set up best practices and ensure coordination of data analysis activities for use cases in the commercial space.

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Management, Data Science or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist, preferably within the consumer-packaged goods, FMCG, pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

• Business acumen in at least two areas: customer & sales analysis, market & competition analysis, consumer analysis, sales controlling analysis.

• Familiarity with at least one of the following: CRM systems, Google Analytics, Google Media, Meta Media.

• Experience with data manipulation and analysis using Azure Databricks, SQL and Python.

• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and data modelling.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner.

• Familiarity with business analysis concepts, including but not limited to requirements elicitation, stakeholder analysis, process documentation

• Interest and experience with AI tools supporting data analysis and stewardship is a plus.

• Experience with preparing data for AI solutions (e.g. traditional machine learning models, AI Agents) is a plus.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
