Product Specialist - Tester
Are you passionate about ensuring the highest quality of products in the digital landscape? We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Specialist - Tester to join our Digital Hub in Warsaw being part of our global Data Assets, Analytics, and AI Platform at Bayer IT. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and validating our innovative digital products, ensuring they meet both functional and user experience standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and UX/UI designers, to deliver exceptional digital solutions that meet our customers' needs.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various digital products.
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues in the product, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with product managers and development teams to understand product requirements and specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on usability and functionality.
- Assist in the development of automated testing scripts and tools to enhance testing efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and best practices.
- Provide insights and recommendations for product improvements based on testing results and user feedback.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing process and methodologies.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, preferably in a digital product environment.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools, including experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of product development life cycles and user experience principles.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in a product specialist role or similar capacity.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques.
- Understanding of the digital landscape and emerging technologies.
