For Digital Hub Warsaw, we are looking for:

Product Designer

A Product Designer is responsible for designing and enhancing user interfaces and experiences with a high degree of independence. This role emphasizes Human-Centered Design (HCD) methodology to ensure that user needs are at the forefront of the design process. The Product Designer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive and user-centric designs that align with business goals.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

• Independently design and develop user interfaces and experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and accessible

• Design components for larger systems and ensure consistency across products

• Utilize design standards and best practices for the Platform or Division based on guidance from the Distinguished Designer and Principal & Lead Designers

Human-Centered Design:

• Apply HCD principles to deeply understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points through comprehensive research and user testing

• Conduct user experience analysis and integrate findings into design solutions.

Prototyping and Testing:

• Create low, medium and high-fidelity prototypes and conduct usability testing to iterate designs based on user feedback

• Utilize rapid and advanced prototyping techniques to demonstrate design concepts and validate solutions

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to deliver cohesive and user-centric designs promoting consistency in components and reusability of components where possible

• Proactively communicate and collaborate with product users and stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure alignment

Learning and Growth:

• Continuously enhance design skills and stay updated with the latest design tools and methodologies including exploring opportunities to use AI to streamline design processes

• Work to understand the business unit and processes associated with the digital product

• Apply modern design standards and best practices to all projects

Product Strategy:

• Contribute to setting the design strategy for the product to ensure the customer and their needs are at the center, the solutions are feasible, and they are good value / fit for business

• Work on the design backlog to achieve product vision and aligned strategy

Product Discovery & Delivery:

• Create comprehensive design artifacts to clarify user needs and requirements

• Monitor user feedback and metrics and present to stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and deliver more business value

Design Support:

• Lead design iterations following user research findings and prioritize improvements.

• Work closely with Developers to provide what they may need to develop solutions to design specifications

Workshop Facilitation:

• Participate in Design Workshops: Assist in facilitating design workshops to support team collaboration and co-creation

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Proficient in design tools such as Figma, with the ability to contribute to and maintain design systems

• Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail

• Experience implementing and adhering to accessibility standards

• Capable of independently conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design improvement

• Creativity, continuous learning, and an experimental mindset

• Experience with rapid and advanced prototyping techniques

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional

• An Exceptional UI Portfolio: This is the most critical requirement. Your portfolio must demonstrate a strong foundation in visual design principles, a keen eye for detail, and a flair for creating modern, elegant user interfaces.
