Cloud Engineer 

We are looking for Cloud Engineer!

Right now, we are looking for somebody passionate about helping organization to reinvent and digitize its technical business foundation building on a cloud-based world of today and tomorrow. Someone interested in joining a wide skilled and energetic team of IT & process specialists and data scientists working across the globe. If you can describe yourself as hands-on, able to build and run cloud solutions and platforms, you might be a person we are looking for.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily maintenance of the existing Cloud Infrastructure deployed in AWS

• Handling platform ticketing queue in ServiceNow

• Actively support, troubleshooting and maintain Platform following best practices and security requirements

• Develop, manage and support AWS EKS clusters across the Bayer network

• Proactively seek enhancements of existing infrastructure following best practices and security

• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitHub to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes

• Monitor and manage AWS infrastructure, ensuring performance, availability, and scalability

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GitHub workflows, Terraform deployments, AWS services

WHO YOU ARE: 

• You have an Information Technology degree or similar

• Familiarity with the ServiceNow ticketing system

• You are AWS certified on at least Associate level (preferred certification Solution Architect/ CloudOps Engineer) or planning to be in the future

• You have hands-on Kubernetes experience

• You have hands-on experience with IaC – preferred Terraform – related certification is nice to have

• You have proven work experience in leveraging cloud hosting and storage solutions in AWS

• You live “automation first” mindset developing and deploying infrastructure-as-code (IaC) concepts and templates within the AWS cloud environment using Github, CI/CD Github Actions and Terraform/CloudFormation

• Familiarity with software workflows automations is nice to have

• Fluent command in spoken and written English

• Minimum 1 year of experience in AWS
