For this reason, we are looking for a Junior Data Analyst in our IT Hub in Warsaw Old Town. You will join the Data team and will be responsible for reporting and ad hoc analysis linked to the Batmaid team. In order to be successful in this role, you need to be proactive, tech-oriented, and use creativity in problem-solving.
Your mission
- Define and design reports, ensuring high standards of storytelling with visualization.
- Design and deploy SQL queries for BI purposes.
- Support and improve ETL processes, source systems, and data management infrastructure.
- Deliver ad hoc analysis for internal stakeholders.
- Gather requirements and define the scope of BI products (dashboards, reports, and data pipelines).
- Encourage the improvement within the area of BI by working with other team members to develop proof of concept processes and tools that will improve efficiency, quality, and delivery time of analysis within Batmaid.
- Empower and promote data-driven decision-making.
- Explore the new tools and approaches as well as help others to learn.
Your weapons
- Fluent level of English
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or related maths-heavy / analytical field.
- General understanding of IT infrastructure related to Business Intelligence.
- Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, Data Visualization tools (Looker/Tableau/Power BI/ggplot/bokeh).
- Knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
- Experience with databases and applications on cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS) will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of hypothesis testing, research techniques, statistical methods
