Machine Learning Engineer

bards.ai team is engaged in conducting research projects, performing analysis and producing software that includes machine learning. We are oriented towards working with clients in need of an external R&D team. We are looking for an employee for the position of Machine Learning Engineer, where his/her task will be to design and implement LLM-based workflows and AI agents, engineer prompts and optimize model outputs, develop and deploy custom language models, and build production AI features for client products.

Requirements:

• Ability to autonomously plan and execute tasks, focusing on the achievement of business objectives

• Teamwork skills and good communication

• Communicative English

• B.Sc./M.A/M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics or other equivalents fields

• 2 years as Machine Learning Engineer - a background with ML concepts and models.

• Practical experience in Python, particularly in data science and machine learning libraries (PyTorch, Huggingface)

• Strong experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and LLM-driven workflows

• Experience building AI agents or multi-step LLM pipelines

• Ability to process data using Numpy, Pandas or visualization tools

• Experience with vector databases

• Foundational skills in database management and data retrieval for data analysis

• Familiarity with Docker

Nice to have:

• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks (LangGraph, OpenAI AI SDK, etc.)

• Knowledge of RAG architectures and LLM orchestration

• Familiarity with LLM evaluation and output quality monitoring

• Keeping up to date with the latest developments/models of AI

• Knowledge of backend frameworks (Django/Fast APIs)
