As a Regular Vulnerability Manager for Baloise Solution Hub, you are working with the Team based in Switzerland. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented team member with a foundational understanding of threat intelligence to join the Cyber Defence team. In this role, you will assist in identifying, analysing, and managing vulnerabilities within our IT infrastructure, while also integrating threat intelligence insights to prioritize risks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across the IT Service Provider and local entities, to ensure that security risks are effectively mitigated, helping to enhance the operational security posture of Baloise.
Your ideal background and skillset:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Understanding of common cybersecurity concepts, including vulnerability management, threat landscapes, and risk assessment
Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Tenable, VM for Defender, JFrog Xray, Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7) and threat intelligence platforms or feeds is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Knowledge of networking concepts, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and web applications
Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Defender is a plus
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Vulnerability Assessor (CVA), or similar are desirable but not mandatory
Knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK) is a plus
Experience in an internship or entry-level role related to cybersecurity or vulnerability management
Exposure to finance industry security practices and compliance standards
