Test Automation Engineer

Detailed description of work task to be carried out:

• Prior experience with Software Development and proficiency in one of the programming languages (Java/C#).
• Knowledge of Non-Functional Tests and hands-on experience with JMeter.
• Experience with continuous integration tools like Bamboo or Jenkins.
• General testing knowledge on the ISTQB Foundation Level.

Your key responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing automated test scripts for performance checks.
• Analyzing defects and updating scripts.
• Review and comment on requirements and technical designs from a test perspective
• Work actively with the entire agile scrum team to secure the high-quality of delivery
• Gathering and managing test data; understanding test data dependencies for a given context
• Report, debug, and verify defects
• Recommending appropriate actions for test results
• Daily impediments resolution and communication, risk mitigation
• Improve and extend the existing framework solution where possible.

Description of knowledge and experience:

• 3+ years of hands-on test automation experience in any of the following domains: GUI-based (Web), service-based level (REST)
• Coding skills in Java
• Strong experience with JMeter
• Knowledge and experience in Non-functional testing
• Knowledge and experience in solutions supporting test automation (Maven, Selenium WebDriver, Rest-Assured, Postman, Chrome devtools)
• Fluent in using GIT
• Experience in working with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins/Bamboo)
• Basic experience with SQL query preparation
• Skills with data manipulation using various data formats (e.g. XML, CSV, JSON) would be an additional asset
• Experience in implementing behavior-driven development approaches and familiarity with Gherkin

This role requires the candidate to work from our office in Tricity or Warsaw once a week to facilitate collaboration and team engagement
