Automation Tester

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute automated frontend testing as the primary responsibility, with additional focus on backend test coverage
• Support API testing to ensure seamless integration and performance across services
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners to understand business requirements and define comprehensive test scenarios
• Contribute to manual testing efforts (~30%) when necessary to maintain quality across all aspects of the product
• Work effectively as part of a Scrum team, participating actively in agile ceremonies and team planning

Expectations:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with test automation tools: Playwright, Cucumber, Cypress, TypeScript, Java
• Practical experience with JIRA, qTest, and version control systems (preferably Bitbucket/GIT)
• Solid understanding of frontend testing principles and strategies
• Proven API testing experience (REST, Postman, Swagger, etc.) is a strong plus
• Demonstrated experience in agile/Scrum environments with a track record of building robust automated test suites
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with developers, analysts, and product owners
• Proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership over assigned work
