Product Owner

About the Role:
We are looking for a Product Owner to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience building user-facing applications within the financial services domain and understands how to bridge business needs with technical execution.

Responsibilities

● Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring alignment on priorities and scope.

● Collect, analyse, and prioritise requirements from business and technical stakeholders.

● Translate requirements into a clear and actionable scope of work, including user stories and acceptance criteria.

● Manage and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects business priorities and technical feasibility.

● Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other Agile ceremonies, using Jira to manage workflows and track progress.

● Ensure delivery aligns with business goals, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

● Collaborate closely with developers, designers, QA, and business teams to deliver high-quality features on time.

Requirements

● Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in software delivery.

● Strong background in building user-facing applications, ideally mobile.

● Experience in the banking services domain is a strong advantage.

● Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and hands-on experience with Jira (or similar tools).

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable tasks.

● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

● Experience working in regulated industries (banking, fintech, insurance, etc.).

● Familiarity with APIs and technical integrations.

● Knowledge of mobile UX/UI best practices.
