Senior IT Vendor Manager

Key responsibilities:

• Manage annual contract renewals (especially at Q4) to ensure continuation of service and operational stability
• Work alongside Procurement and use market knowledge to drive cost, service and quality into the supply base population
• Develop and own contract renewal pipeline to cover all IT spend
• Develop and embed use of central contract repository to deliver an automated pipeline
• Manage post contract vendor performance including regular review / performance meetings
• Ensure key contract obligations are extracted, tracked and reviewed as part of review process 
• Ensure all supplier performance data feeds back into future renewal cycles
• Ensure everyday key operational activities are completed, including contract registration, PR/PO creation, invoice query resolution, supplier onboarding 
• Support transition to more automated, digital operations, specifically the coordinated use of best-in-class Vendor Management tools (such as Ariba)
• Support development of more integrated data management and reporting
• Ensure overall KPIs and performance metrics are clearly defined and consistently communicated 

Key skills:

• Working knowledge of Ariba or similar toolset (experience of comparable technologies would be considered advantageous)
• Working knowledge of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process
• Collaborate with and coordinate a global team
• Manage and influence a range of stakeholders
• Thrives in a flexible changing environment
• Excellent written and verbal business English communication

Qualifications/Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Vendor Management or Procurement
• Experience of working with global IT vendors
• IT category experience preferred but not essential
