Data Scientist

Responsibilites:

* Data analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends

* Modeling: Develop predictive models and algorithms to solve complex business problems ranging from a variety of ML fields

* Communication: Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, gather requirements on further adoptions and future work.

* Converting data into insights

Requirements:

* 3+ years with hands-on experience with data science and/or advanced analytics projects.

* Master degree in a quantitative field (e.g. physics, mathematics, computer science, bioinformatics).

* Expert knowledge on supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.

* Well-versed in R, Python and in using common machine learning libraries (e.g., sklearn, keras/tensorflow, PYMC3, statsmodels, etc.). Programming in Spark would be a plus.

* Solid understanding of statistics and time-series analysis: Bayesian inference, ARIMA, MCMC, etc.

* Experience with Large Language Models and their pipelines would be a plus.

* Hands-on experience in any of the following areas would be a plus: anomaly detection, IoT analytics, real-time/streaming analytics, variant identification in NGS runs, RNAseq, ATACseq, and Metagenomics.

* Experience with big data ecosystems and common ETL processes. Optional: Experience with the Azure tool stack.

* Experience in stakeholder interaction: understanding needs from technical and non-technical key-stakeholders and translation into analytical solutions.

* Knowledge of professional software development practices and using tools for source control and project management like Git, Azure Dev Ops etc.
