Data Engineer

Avenga is looking for a Data Engineer for one of our clients in the automotive industry to support the following prioritized initiatives in Wave 1:

• Early Defect Detection
• AI-driven root cause analysis
• Quality Copilot

The Data Engineer will work on applications to develop features, support internal users, and address business-critical processes by resolving maintenance and data quality issues. The role also involves ensuring the efficient operation of the organization's systems and contributing to overall data integrity.

Requirements:

• Data Engineering has been your world for at least 4-5 years
• Cloud service platform expertise: Azure
• Proven experience with large Databases and Data Warehouses
• Expertise in Databricks: Delta Tables, DLT, Unity Catalog, performance tuning, etc.
• Good knowledge in Azure services: Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Key Vault
• Knowledge of modern Data Modeling and Design concepts
• Ability to design simplified E2E Azure solution architecture
• Knowledge of Power BI (Fabric) will be a strong benefit
• Nice to have: experience in on-prem to cloud migration project

+ Familiarity with authentication mechanisms in Azure

+ Ability to use Version Control (Git) with Azure DevOps
