QA Automation Engineer - Future Opportunities

This is "future opportunities" ad - we will begin recruitment process after summer (September). You can expect to hear from us at that time.

Day-to-day tasks:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated UI and backend/API tests

• Define test strategy, create test plans, and prioritize test cases

• Organize and coordinate work across the test team, ensuring consistent delivery and quality metrics

• Collaborate with product owners and clients to clarify requirements and provide testing progress updates

• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools, and best practices

• Engage in testing AI/GenAI solutions, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) scenarios

Perfect skillset:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in QA automation

• Proficiency in at least one programming language: C#; Java; JavaScript; TS or Python

• Solid experience with UI test automation frameworks

• Proven expertise in backend/API test automation

• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL

• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal

• Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment

Nice to have:

• Practical experience with Playwright or Selenium

• Certified knowledge of Scrum framework

• Microsoft certifications such as AI-900, DP-900, AZ-900, AI-102, DP-600, or Databricks certifications

• Background in testing Generative AI solutions and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) scenarios

• Track record of defining and managing test strategies and test plans for complex projects

• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a test team
