Your Responsibilities:
Performing in-depth data profiling and analysis to uncover patterns, anomalies, and inconsistencies in data.
Collaborating with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to define data requirements and ensure data quality.
Develop and execute data validation and verification processes to document and improve data integrity and quality.
Create detailed reports and visualizations to communicate data profiling results and insights.
Providing recommendations for improving data quality, consistency, and usability.
Extract and analyse data to assess structure, content, and quality.
Analyse key data attributes, relationships, and dependencies.
Utilise data profiling tools to perform statistical profiling (e.g., null value checks, uniqueness analysis, value distribution).
Generate and analyse data quality reports.
Issue Identification and documenting:
Pinpoint inconsistencies, anomalies, duplicates, and missing data.
Collaborate with own and other teams to resolve data issues.
Maintain detailed documentation of profiling results.
Create visuals and summaries of results to share findings with stakeholders.
Work closely with business units to understand data usage and ensure alignment.
Regularly update profiling tools and results to align with schema and mapping changes as needed.
Language skills:
Upper-lntermediate (B2)
Qualifications:
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in data profiling, data analysis, or a similar role.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets.
Experience with data profiling tools (e.g., Databricks, or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with data quality frameworks and concepts such as data cleansing, data governance, and master data management.
Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R for data analysis (preferred). Excellent level of written and spoken English.
