We are looking for a self-reliant QA Specialist (Mid-Level) to join our IT Delivery Team in the Claim Center area. You will be the sole QA responsible for ensuring quality within the team – playing a key role in planning, executing, and reporting on tests related to projects and changes in the Guidewire system. Your responsibility will be to establish and maintain high-quality standards in the testing process – from requirements analysis to supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and production releases.

Your role in the team will include


  • Plan and execute functional and regression tests for the Claim Center area (Guidewire system)

  • Independently manage the QA process within the team: create test cases, perform testing, document results, log and re-test defects 

  • Select and prepare test cases for automation, to be handed over to the automation testing team 

  • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and the product owner 

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum sprints and release cycles

  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure product readiness before production deployments 

  • Maintain test documentation and artifacts in line with internal standards 


We're looking for you if you have


  • At least 3 years of experience in software testing as a QA Specialist or Tester     

  • Hands-on experience working with the Guidewire platform (any module)                          

  • Practical experience in manual testing (functional, regression, integration) of business applications (preferably in the insurance domain) 

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality assurance in the team                      

  • Familiarity with defect lifecycle and test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar)           

  • Understanding of claims business processes or strong willingness to learn quickly                  

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments                                                

  • Nice to have:

    • Experience working with Guidewire Claim Center

    • ISTQB FL Certification                                                         

    • Experience with test automation (e.g., using Selenium, Postman, REST-assured) 

    • Ability to write SQL queries
