We are looking for an experienced Defect Manager who will report to the Technical QA Manager. The Defect Manager will be responsible for governance of the defect lifecycle, ensuring effective communication and collaborating with internal teams and external clients.
This role will act as a key liaison between client and 3rd party stakeholders, coordinating defect identification, reporting, tracking and formal resolution process(es) whilst maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Your role in the team will include
Build strong working relationships with 3rd parties and peers.
Manage defect lifecycle, including logging, tracking, and closure.
Prioritize and assign 3rd party observations with clear ownership.
Analyze defect trends to improve processes alongside QA teams.
Provide updates to stakeholders and the Technical QA Manager.
Coordinate with internal and external teams to address bottlenecks.
Assess defect impact on timelines and mitigate risks with 3rd parties.
Ensure SLA adherence and initiate improvements.
Lead structured triage sessions with 3rd party reps.
We're looking for you if you have
Skilled in defect management tools (especially JIRA).
Experienced in leading Defect Triage meetings.
Strong understanding of SDLC and the role of a defect manager.
Comfortable diplomatically challenging internal teams and stakeholders.
Skilled at communicating complex requirements to non-technical audiences.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Strong in articulating defect progress with 3rd parties.
Client-facing experience with 3rd parties and strong workload management.
