The Audio & Video engineering team at Around.co oversees the technology and end to end-user experience of our video features across desktop and mobile. The team's mission is to give our users the utmost certainty that our video and client experience is excellent.
Around.co is now looking for a highly technical, hands-on, and mission-driven audio engineer to help us refine and broaden the delight and influence of our audio and video technology.
What You'll Be Doing
- You will be part of a small team to develop, improve and enhance our existing, patent-pending EchoTerminator video-conferencing feature (multiple devices in one space without echo loops)
- Contribute to other and new real-time audio-related projects, such as ultrasonic exchange of data.
About You
We are looking for someone with the following skills and qualities:
- You previously worked on synchronizing multiple output devices in real-time
- Strong experience with C++
- Desktop or embedded systems engineering
- Highly comfortable in working in a small, fully remote team
