In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud solutions that drive our business forward. Your expertise in cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure, will be essential in shaping the future of our cloud infrastructure

How you will make an impact

You will have a significant impact on Arla’s global developer community by tackling complex challenges, ensuring seamless cloud service integration, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Your Key Responsibilities will be: 

·        Inspire and mentor a team of cloud engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. 

·        Architect and implement comprehensive compliance dashboards that provide clear insights into cloud operations; and self-advisory and self-service tools to empower cloud collaborators, 

·        Create templates and accelerators to facilitate efficient and consistent cloud practices across the organization, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements. 

·        Drive strategic cloud initiatives, contributing to the overall direction and execution of cloud projects. 

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery of solutions. 

·        Manage and resolve complex technical issues related to the Azure infrastructure and services. 

·        Develop and maintain technical documentation for cloud processes and procedures. 

·        Proactively monitor and optimize the performance of cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability and efficiency. 

·        Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and best practices, implementing improvements as needed. 

What will make you successful

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 

·        Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years focused on Azure cloud environments. 

·        Deep expertise in Azure services, including Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Server. 

·        Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates. 

·        Proficiency in automation and scripting using Python, PowerShell, or similar languages. 

·        Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and specifications. 

·        Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or GCP is advantageous. 

·        Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. 

·        Familiarity with ITIL and Agile methodologies. 

Please note that this role requires you to be in the office 50% of the time + one additional day (monthly).
