Experienced Specialist - Commercial Applications

How you will make an impact?

As a Frontend Developer for the Arla Connect solution, you will be part of the Application Services team within Arla IT Operations. Based in Gdańsk or Viby, you will work on improving and maintaining the in-house developed front end of the Arla Connect platform. You might also get some tasks on other e-commerce solutions such as Arla deals and Point of Sales Shop.

Arla Connect is a custom-built, in-house solution. The backend is built with .NET C# and Episerver, and is supported by teams based in Denmark, Poland, and India. The frontend team sits within the Solutions department. We are looking for someone who can quickly get up to speed and take ownership of implementations from day one.  Your responsibilities will include:

• Implement and test frontend changes

• Collaborate with business users to gather and understand requirements

• Translate complex technical terms into business-friendly language

• Work with stakeholders from Denmark, UK, Finland, and Sweden

• Provide input to the test automation team

• Document solutions clearly and thoroughly

• Participate in handover and knowledge transfer sessions

What will make you successful

We’re looking for a team player with strong communication skills and a proactive mindset. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment and collaborating with diverse teams. To succeed in this role, you should have experience with:

• JavaScript frameworks

• Node.js and Vite

• REST API integration

• Git and basic DevOps knowledge (e.g., Azure DevOps pipelines)

• Ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and ITIL-based processes

It‘s a plus if you also have:

• Experience working in support roles or with e-commerce platforms

• Background in FMCG or similar industries

• Knowlegde of C#/.net” and Razor markup
