Workday Consultant / Senior Workday Integrations Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Workday Consultant to join our global IT/HR Technology team. This role focuses on the design, development, and support of scalable Workday integrations that power critical HR, Payroll, and Benefits systems. You will be a key player in delivering secure, efficient, and future-ready solutions across our Workday ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, PECI, RaaS, and Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP).

• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

• Perform data transformations using XML/XSLT; troubleshoot and resolve integration errors.

• Lead or participate in system testing, UAT, and production deployment of integrations.

• Monitor integration performance, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver tuning and improvements.

• Contribute to integration architecture and documentation standards.

• Support compliance and security initiatives, including SSO, encryption, and data privacy protocols.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to solution reviews and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• 5–7+ years of Workday integration development experience, including at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Workday Studio

  • PECI / EIB / Core Connectors / Cloud Connect

  • Calculated fields, custom reports, report writer, RaaS

  • XML, XSLT, REST/SOAP APIs

• Demonstrated success building and supporting complex integrations in Payroll, HCM, and Benefits domains.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to manage projects independently while collaborating across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with iLoads or other Workday data migration tools.

• Knowledge of middleware tools such as Dell Boomi or MuleSoft.

• Familiarity with global HR processes, compliance, and regulatory reporting.

• Agile/Scrum experience and comfort working in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
