As an QA Automation Architect, you will define and implement automation frameworks, strategies, and best practices across the R&D department. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the software development lifecycle, ensuring robust, scalable, and efficient automation solutions.
What You'll Do
- Architect and Develop Automation Frameworks: Design and implement robust automation frameworks for testing, deployment, and monitoring of .NET-based products.
- Strategic Planning: Define and drive the long-term automation strategy for the R&D department, aligning it with business and technical objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to integrate automation seamlessly into the development process.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current processes and propose automation-driven solutions.
- Tooling and Technology Selection: Evaluate, select, and implement automation tools and technologies to suit business needs.
- Mentorship and Training: Guide teams on best practices for automation, and provide mentorship to build automation capabilities across the department.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that automation frameworks and tools maintain high-quality standards and align with regulatory requirements in the iGaming industry.
- Scalability and Performance: Develop solutions that scale with the growing needs of the product and R&D teams.
- Reporting and Metrics: Establish and maintain KPIs to measure the effectiveness and ROI of automation initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 7+ years in automation and software development, with at least 3 years in an architect or similar senior role. Experience in the iGaming industry is a strong advantage.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of automation frameworks and tools for testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring. Proficiency in .NET technologies is essential.
- Tools and Platforms: Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, SpecFlow, Pactflow and CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Testing Expertise: Strong knowledge of functional, integration, performance, and security testing automation.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities to drive collaboration across large teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, AWS/Azure certifications) are a plus.
