Responsibilities:
- provide technical support to end-users in both English and German (onsite or remotely),
- install, configure, and maintain hardware (PCs, printers, mobile devices) and software applications,
- troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, network connectivity, and enterprise applications,
- collaborate with international teams and assist German-speaking clients or colleagues with IT-related inquiries,
- ensure system and data security, backup procedures, and compliance with IT policies,
- document incidents, solutions, and user guides in both English and German,
- support IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and new software implementations.
Requirements:
- proven experience in IT support, system administration, or a related field,
- strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems, network infrastructure, and Microsoft Office applications,
- excellent problem-solving and communication skills,
- very good knowledge of German and English (spoken and written) is mandatory,
- familiarity with ITIL processes or service desk tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) is a plus,
- relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are an advantage,
- knowledge of Citrix - nice to have.
