Software Tester

APTVISION seeks a skilled Software Tester proficient in writing test documentation, preparing test plans, identifying and documenting bugs, and ensuring robust software projects. The role's main focus is to oversee quality and create test documentation for a web application developed by a team of experienced professionals. As a member of the testing team, you will have an opportunity to collaborate closely with the development and product teams, verifying functionality, developing test cases, identifying defects, and providing valuable feedback to enhance our software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide input as required to the planning, requirements definition, and design process for software development tasks, with an eye toward testability
• Perform front-end user acceptance testing for all required application features
• Develop and maintain a test scenario library
• Support end-to-end testing around the software development and implementation process
• Assist in identifying the root causes of bugs
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Required Skills

• 2+ years of professional experience in QA engineering or software testing
• Experience in web application testing
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining test documentation, such as test cases and test scripts
• Knowledge of bug-tracking tools and systems to log and manage defects
• Experience in issue-tracking software like Jira
• Analytical mind and a problem-solving attitude to understand project requirements, identify potential risks, and devise effective test cases
• Excellent communication and organisation skills, ability to work effectively under little supervision
• Proficiency in English
• Familiarity with the Scrum methodology

Additional Preferred Skills

• Experience with API testing and HL7 integrations
• Knowledge of test automation concepts and tools (Playwright, Cypress)
• Understanding of SQL and relational databases 
• Knowledge of web application development frameworks (Vue, Symphony)
• Experience with performance testing development
