Our radiology system is used in many hospitals and clinics across Europe, in countries such as England, Ireland, Hungary and Poland, and our online appointment booking system is the leading system in Northern Ireland for booking vaccinations. Due to the dynamic development of our company, we need to expand our team with more talented people!

Aptvision is looking for an Junior PHP/JS Developer  to help us bring our platform to the next level.

We are looking for a Junior PHP/JS Developer to join our small, friendly team and help us take our web-based application to the next level. If you want to learn from experienced developers, work with modern technologies, and grow your skills in real projects — this role is for you.

Joining our team, you will:

• Learn real project workflows and gradually take ownership of parts of the product

• Learn and apply AI assisted development to multiply your developer velocity

• Have an impact on features that make a difference for our users

• Work with a modern tech stack — PHP, Vue.js, Docker and other current technologies

• Grow under the guidance of senior developers

• Learn and apply software development best practices in day-to-day work

Your responsibilities

At the beginning:

• Support the team in developing and maintaining our PHP/JS applications

• Implement small features and fixes following our coding standards

• Build simple UI components using HTML/CSS best practices

• Work with APIs, databases and internal integrations

• Participate in code reviews and learn project tooling

• Write clean, testable, maintainable code

• Help create and maintain technical documentation

Over time:

• Take ownership of selected modules

• Suggest improvements and new ideas for the product

• Participate in technical discussions and planning

Required skills and experience

We don’t expect years of experience — we’re looking for potential, motivation and solid fundamentals.

• Basic knowledge of PHP and JavaScript

• Good understanding of HTML/CSS and willingness to improve in this area

• Understanding of how web applications work (request/response, sessions, basic security)

• Fundamentals of Object-Oriented Programming and relational databases (e.g., MySQL/PostgreSQL)

• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach

• Good organizational skills and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment

• Nice to have: basic familiarity with the command line, Docker, or version control systems (Git), AI assisted development
