Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Integration Engineer to join our technical team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in data and system integration, backend development, and customer-facing technical projects.
As a Junior Integration Engineer, you will support the setup of new integration projects involving HL7 data exchange with third-party systems. Your role will include backend programming, interface and database configuration, and assisting with technical discussions with both Polish and international clients. You will also contribute to technical documentation and gain exposure to best practices in integration and project delivery.
Responsibilities
Assist in backend programming and system interface configuration
Support database configuration tasks related to integration solutions
Participate in projects involving HL7 data exchange and healthcare system integration
Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers during client meetings to gather technical requirements
Create and maintain clear and structured technical documentation
Write simple scripts in PHP, SQL, or JavaScript to support integrations
Stay up to date with industry tools and integration technologies
Required Skills/Experience
Basic knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, and SQL
Experience working with the Linux operating system
English proficiency at B2 level or higher (written and spoken)
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to read and write technical documentation
Strong willingness to learn and grow in a technical role
Bachelor’s degree (or ongoing studies) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
Nice to Have
Familiarity with HL7 standards and healthcare interoperability
Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
Basic understanding of computer networks and communication protocols
Exposure to version control tools (e.g., Git)
Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and data exchange models
