RPA Developer - UiPath

As part of scaling technology talent within Aon IT Scale team, you will play a key role in our automation initiatives, focusing specifically on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using UiPath.

As an RPA Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive successful adoption of hyper-automation practices. You will take ownership of the automation journey, ensuring that use cases and scenarios are thoroughly developed and documented.

What the day will look like:

• Design and implement RPA solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to define the manual rules that govern the processes, translating them into automations.
• Develop scripts and code using UiPath and other automation tools following Agile methodologies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation in accordance with best practices.
• Conduct thorough automation testing, including unit testing, user acceptance testing, and bug fixes.
• Participate in peer code reviews and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Engage in training opportunities to enhance your skills with the latest tools and best practices.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Ability to deconstruct business problems into logical tasks and think creatively to develop solutions.
• Proficiency in code analysis to understand implementation details.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts (e.g., OCR, NLP) and their integration with automation tools.
• Experience and expertise in UiPath, particularly with UiPath Automation Cloud capabilities, is highly advantageous.
