Role Overview:

We are currently looking for an experienced Vulnerability Scanning Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join a global cybersecurity team for one of our key clients in the banking sector. The role focuses on identifying and managing security vulnerabilities across a large-scale IT environment, supporting early detection and remediation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and ad-hoc infrastructure vulnerability scans and assessments

• Deploy and manage scanning agents in large-scale environments

• Analyze scan results and communicate findings to technical and business stakeholders

• Configure and operate industry-standard vulnerability management tools (e.g., Tenable, Qualys)

• Collaborate with global teams and third-party vendors

• Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve vulnerability detection and management

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Tenable, Qualys)

• Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud security assessments

• Ability to interpret and communicate technical findings to various audiences

• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (OWASP, NIST, CIS)

• Scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) are a plus

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Self-driven, ethical, and resilient under pressure
