💸 Rate: 150–200 PLN/hour
🏢 Work Mode: hybrid with on-site presence required approximately 6-8 times per month (Kraków)
Position Overview:
As a Production Support Engineer, you will primarily focus on supporting critical billing and payments services across multiple regions.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include L2/L3 production support, service management, quality assurance, security patching, and consultancy. You will also contribute to activities such as change management, risk and control, design, testing, and business analysis.
In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining service health, stability, and sustainability, working collaboratively within a team where teamwork and communication are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Production engineering work consisting of: support, maintenance and service management activity of billing and payments services.
Maintain and manage distributed systems, servers (Linux and Windows), middleware layers such as Microsoft IIS, in memory solutions such as Hazelcast, containers at Kubernetes or cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform.
DevOps related work in building and supporting CICD pipelines.
Application, business process and data intelligence while supporting day-to-day Operations and Operations processes using related application. Organise and manage change activity (scoping the change work, planning its implementation), fulfil arrangements with impacted interfacing parties, assessment of service/customer impact.
Data analysis and building business data intelligence in the environment of Microsoft SQL and Oracle
Requirements:
Master’s degree and standing experience in the area of Production Support (L2/L3).
Working DevOps experience while managing configuration and pipelines.
Experience working with MS SQL, Oracle DB, configuration of Windows Server, Microsoft IIS, Hazelcast, Kubernetes, docker and managing containers at GCP.
Knowledge of Linux, bash, Git, Jenkins, Splunk, virtualization and containerization.
Familiar with Agile tools such as (GitHub, Confluence and Jira).
