Job Description:

For our Client we are looking for experienced candidates for the position of Senior Scala Developer to join an exciting project in the shipping sector. The project is for an international shipping company offering cruises. It is known for its modern fleet solutions and "Freestyle Cruising" concept, which provides access to a wide range of choices in terms of rates, rates, and itinerary.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Build and enhance backend services using Scala

• Lead performance optimization efforts across large-scale applications and services

• Proactively research and troubleshoot technical issues that could impact end user experience

• Work with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions

• Help onboard new technical resources by sharing best practices and tooling

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Scala/backend engineering experience

• Strong background in system performance tuning and scalability

• Ability to anticipate and solve complex technical issues

• Curiosity to dig deep into problems and explore solutions

• Strong collaboration and communication skills

• Very good command of English and Polish, at least at B2 level
