Senior / Lead Software Engineer

Location: Hybrid – Warsaw, Poland (3 days/week in-office from late 2025)Until our Warsaw office opens (target: Q4 2025), the role will be remote with periodic in-person team meetings.Once operational, we expect team members to be present in the Warsaw office to foster collaboration, speed, and shared ownership.

Travel requirements: Expected to travel to London once per 3 months.

Our business is founded and led by two Harvard MBAs with backgrounds in McKinsey consulting and Private Equity investing and operating. The team is led with a sense of urgency and laser focus on business impact. We work with modern technologies like TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS, and we integrate cutting-edge AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor to supercharge our way of working.

The Role

We’re looking for Senior or Lead Software Engineers who want to build high-quality software at speed, own meaningful product features end-to-end, and ship product directly into the hands of the business user. You’ll be part of a lean, senior, fast-moving tech team that values pragmatism, creative problem-solving, and operates at pace.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship new features across our tech stack, with end-to-end ownership

• Solve real-world, mission critical problems for enterprise customers

• Champion best practices in code quality, testing, and DevOps

• Adopt and experiment with AI productivity tools; bring your ideas on how they can improve our engineering and product velocity

What We're Looking For

• We are not looking for people to ride along, we look for engineers that take the wheel, raise the bar and push our pace.

• Experience shipping SaaS b2b software in production

• Solid expertise in TypeScript, ideally full-stack (Node + React)

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and cloud platforms (we use AWS)

• A problem-solving mindset paired with accountability; you thrive with owning the outcomes

• You're fast, pragmatic, and comfortable with ambiguity

Technologies

• Frontend – React and Next.Js driving code modularity and development speed. TypeScript and Jest for e2e testing.

• Backend – TypeScript and Node.js web to build APIs quickly with full control over routing, middleware and request handling.

• Infrastructure – AWS infrastructure as a code, enriched with Amazon Bedrock for AI enablement.

• Database – Amazon RDS with PostgreSQL.

• CI/CD pipeline – Github actions drive safe and automated deployments with fast feedback.

• Developer AI tooling – Claude, ChatGPT for research, code debugging and code review. Github Copilot accelerates coding and reduce developer context switching and focus on problem solving.
