Senior Java Developer | Financial Markets Platform 

Location: Hybrid Kraków (2x per week/office)

Join a global financial technology team building and supporting mission-critical systems for trading fixed income products such as bonds, credit derivatives, and interest rate derivatives. You’ll be working on highly available, distributed backend services within a fast-paced, agile environment, contributing to a modern and evolving tech stack.

🎯 What you’ll do:

• Design and build robust, scalable backend components for valuation, trade storage, and real-time trading systems
• Drive solutions for both business features and technical architecture – from application logic to DevOps, monitoring, and resiliency
• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to adopt modern tooling and cloud solutions
• Participate in technical design reviews and represent your application in architecture discussions
• Contribute to modernization efforts and continuous improvement of system performance and reliability

🧠 What we’re looking for:

• 7+ years of backend Java development experience in enterprise-scale, mission-critical systems
• Strong hands-on skills with Core Java and Spring Boot
• Experience working with valuation engines, trade stores, or similar complex business domains
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and software design principles
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud infrastructure
• Working knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other distributed data stores
• Comfortable with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, etc.
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Fast learner, self-starter, and proactive problem-solver with an agile mindset

➕ Bonus points for:

• Exposure to Rust or willingness to learn new languages quickly
• Experience in the financial trading domain or capital markets
• Prior involvement in cloud-native application development and infrastructure automation
