Role Purpose

We are looking for a Senior  IT Business Analyst  to join the Payments & GLCM team.You will be responsible for analyzing and refining business requirements, then translating them into effective IT system solutions in line with global architecture standards. This is a hands-on role requiring independence, adaptability, and close collaboration with international teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the most suitable analysis approach for problems and opportunities, working with a multi-skilled team to achieve project goals.

• Analyze and define IT solutions in collaboration with product owners, architects, and delivery teams.

• Rapidly understand business requirements through regular interactions with users and subject matter experts.

• Translate business and system requirements into solution designs and functional specifications.

• Perform root cause analysis and recommend improvements.

• Document requirements in BRDs or Jira user stories.

• Negotiate and influence project scope, including assessing proposed changes.

• Work closely with delivery and production support teams to ensure solutions are understood and supported effectively.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience as an IT Business Analyst or Business Consultant.

• Strong knowledge of payments and ISO 20022 messaging standards.

• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders (product owners, project managers, developers, architects).

• Experience in analyzing business requirements and delivering functional solutions.

• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and French.

• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

• Interpersonal skills with the ability to both lead and collaborate effectively.

• Quick learner with the ability to assimilate new ideas.

• Solid understanding of project lifecycle phases.

• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Desired (Nice to Have)

• Knowledge and experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, IQBBA).

• SQL knowledge for querying databases and retrieving data.
