Senior Developer Technology Engineer

Role Description

As a Senior Developer Technology Engineer, you will be based in our Wrocław office and play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of GPU samples within the PowerVR SDK. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with leading video game engines to ensure optimal performance on PowerVR platforms. You will support game and GPU developers, as well as PowerVR customers, by addressing performance and API-level issues using our PowerVR Tools, and providing effective solutions to any challenges encountered on our platforms. Additionally, you will work closely with various PowerVR teams to ensure that both the hardware and software stacks are operating at peak efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of application development experience in C++
• 2 to 3 years of experience with modern graphics APIs: Vulkan, DirectX, or Metal
• Proficient in C++11 and above programming
• Experience with CMake and other build-system oriented languages
• Advanced GPU profiling and debugging skills for complex C++ applications
• Experience with at least two of the following platforms: Windows, Linux, Android
• Exceptional communication skills
• Preferred experience with compute APIs: CUDA, OpenCL
• Familiarity with Python
• Experience with Git source control
• Understanding of hardware and platform architectures
• Skills in low-level profiling and shader optimization
• Ability to implement unit-testing and regression testing sets
• Proficiency in writing well-documented code
• Interest in video-game technology or a background in videogames
