Senior Azure Data Engineer

Role Description:

The selected engineer will join a collaborative, international team and contribute to the development and maintenance of Azure-based data solutions. The ideal candidate is proactive, communicative, and unafraid to challenge existing ideas or suggest improvements. The team is looking for an informal leader who can drive discussions and support decision-making.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong SQL skills (preferably T-SQL)

Should-Have Skills:

• Azure Cloud
• ETL processes
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Git
• Scrum methodology
• Basic understanding of data lakes and Parquet file format

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Cosmos DB
• Power BI
• CI/CD
• GitHub

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and proactive mindset
• Ability to question decisions and propose alternatives
• Leadership attitude and initiative

English Proficiency:

Minimum level B2
