Job Title: Lead Engineer DevOps
Employment Type: B2B Contract (outsourcing)
Work Mode: Hybrid – Kraków (preferred) or Warsaw, in-office presence 6x per month
Team Overview
The Cybersecurity Technology & Engineering team develops solutions to protect the organization from cyber threats. The team’s mission is to deliver innovative and effective defensive capabilities while supporting engineering teams to improve DevSecOps practices and integrate security tools seamlessly.
Role Overview
The Lead Engineer DevOps will be a key member of the secure development optimization team, working in an Agile, DevSecOps environment. The role involves collaborating with various engineering stakeholders to:
Analyze areas for improvement and define requirements for integration patterns.
Design and implement integration patterns between DevOps platforms and cybersecurity tools.
Create integration artefacts and CI/CD pipelines to automate security tool integrations.
Test POCs to validate optimization and automation patterns.
Prepare documentation for governance approval of integration patterns.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for integrating security tools.
Develop and deliver integration artefacts.
Test and validate optimization and automation patterns.
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement DevSecOps best practices.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Experience in DevOps Engineering, including building CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
Experience producing integration artefacts.
Experience integrating with APIs of operational or security tools (e.g., code scanning, Hashicorp Vault, Venafi).
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code development.
System administration experience with DevOps/Cyber tools.
Experience in Cloud Engineering.
Development experience in Java, Python, or similar languages.
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure – networking, operating systems, etc.
Knowledge of DevSecOps and its application throughout the software development lifecycle.
Passion for improving developer experience, integration, and automation of security tooling.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
