Senior Java Fullstack Developer – FX Trading Platforms

📍 Location: Krakow, Poland (Hybrid – 2 days/week in office)📝 Contract: B2B, Long-Term Collaboration

Join a global engineering team building mission-critical financial systems at the heart of the FX (Foreign Exchange) market. We’re looking for an experienced Java Fullstack Developer ready to step into a high-impact role where performance, clean architecture, and fast delivery matter.

You’ll work in a cross-functional, agile pod, releasing production-ready code daily, owning services end-to-end — from development to monitoring.

What You'll Be Working On

• Designing, developing, and maintaining low-latency, high-throughput systems handling large-scale FX transactions (hedging, prime brokerage, execution management).

• Contributing to microservices-based architecture (~100–150 running services) with high autonomy over feature design and delivery.

• Building modern UIs with React and/or Angular, closely aligned with backend components written in Java + Spring Boot.

• Collaborating across time zones with global teams (London, Toronto, Guangzhou) in a DevOps-driven environment.

• Ensuring code quality through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, instrumentation, and observability best practices.

Tech Stack & Tools

• Backend: Java 11+, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs

• Frontend: React, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript

• Database: PostgreSQL, Oracle, Sybase

• DevOps: Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes (basic exposure), CI/CD automation

• Testing & Monitoring: JUnit, Mockito, Grafana, ELK stack, SonarQube

• Agile: Jira, Confluence, Scrum/Kanban practices

Who We're Looking For

• 3–7 years of experience as a Fullstack or Backend Java Developer.

• Hands-on experience with microservices, REST APIs, Spring Boot.

• Solid understanding of relational databases and data consistency in distributed systems.

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React or Angular) is a big plus.

• Passion for DevOps culture — you build it, you own it.

• Comfortable working in Agile teams and collaborating with international stakeholders.

• Fluent English – spoken and written.
