About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join our team and support a major banking project for HSBC. The role involves both manual and automated testing, close collaboration with technical and business teams, and ensuring the highest quality of IT systems in a fast-paced financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing activities (manual and automated)

• Document and track test results, log and monitor defects

• Participate in the review and analysis of project documentation

• Cooperate closely with Production Support, Test Management, Solution Delivery, and Business Analysts to understand requirements and discuss execution plans

• Escalate any issues or risks as appropriate

• Create, run, and analyse automated test scripts

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Fluent English, both spoken and written

• Higher education degree

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT systems testing, preferably in an international environment

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Experience in banking or other financial institutions (ideally payment systems)

• Practical knowledge of SQL and SOAP UI

• Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira and Confluence

• Experience with test automation tools

• Willingness to further develop a career in the IT field
