GeoSpatial Engineer MAP

We are looking for the following for our client, a global technology company GeoSpatial Engineer MAP 

 About the project:

Service Platform is a key platform in the digital transformation, consisting of two products. The first is a managed service that simplifies the operations of microservices within the ecosystem, supporting the development of serverless and containerized services. The second product is a solution that accelerates service development for enterprise platforms, using an ALM framework and GitOps best practices in EKS orchestration.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience running applications on Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Kubernetes operators.
• Proficiency in writing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Swagger for generating REST clients.
• Availability for on-call/support duty on a 12h/7-day schedule.

Nice-to-Haves:

• 3+ years of experience with Golang development.
• Experience writing Kubernetes operators.
• Experience with Crossplane.
• Familiarity with AWS, Helm, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions.
• Experience writing tests using Kuttl or Kyverno Chainsaw.
• Ability to visit the office (Gdańsk) 2-3 times per week to collaborate closely with the team.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop, code, configure, and test programs and systems, typically across two to three sprints.
• Share knowledge effectively within the team.
• Build strong professional networks with technical colleagues, actively participating in technical forums and user groups.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of production systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently with minimal support.
