As the Platform Enablers Team, we are expanding to improve the integration experience for external developers working with us. Our goal is to centralize and standardize publicly available capabilities while strengthening security measures, such as implementing single sign-on (SSO). We aim to become the most developer-friendly shipping provider by offering best-in-class, easy-to-integrate merchant interfaces and a global developer platform that attracts more clients and parcels.

We are looking for an experienced Full-stack Software Engineer to help us build cloud-based, highly scalable, and high-availability applications. If you enjoy working in an international team, solving real-world problems with software, and creating innovative solutions – join us!

Your Responsibilities:

• Designing architecture in collaboration with the team.
• Developing and enhancing global user interfaces.
• Building, testing, and maintaining high-performance microservices using Spring Boot.
• Advocating for an engineering culture of quality, good development practices, and innovation.
• Taking a design-first approach to software development and maintaining up-to-date documentation for the systems you own.
• Collaborating with peers in other engineering teams.
• Working in a cross-functional team to deliver core platform functionalities.

Qualifications:

• A strong foundation in software engineering – a degree in computer science (or a related field) or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, or Angular.
• Experience with Java (Java 17+) and common tools like Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of the oAuth 2.0 protocol and the openid-connect extension.
• Familiarity with software development processes and tools such as Git, Code Reviews, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with technologies like REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based infrastructures (e.g., GCP).
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Required Skills and Tools:

• React, Next.js, Angular 14+
• TypeScript, JavaScript
• Java 17+, Spring Boot
• Docker, ELK Stack, PostgreSQL
• oAuth 2.0 and awareness of OWASP recommendations

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Spring Cloud Gateway, Spring Security, Kafka, Spring Authorization Server.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
