Fullstack Engineer Java & React/Angular

Full Stack Engineer 
Location: Kraków (hybrid – 2 days per week in the office)

We are looking for a talented Fullstack Engineer to join the team within a leading international investment banking organization. This team develops and maintains a suite of FX (Foreign Exchange) services for institutional clients, including hedge funds, asset managers, and custodians acting on behalf of their clients.

Your Role:

• Design, develop, and support full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot), relational databases (Sybase, Oracle, PostgreSQL), and modern JavaScript front-end frameworks (Angular, React).

• Work in a microservices architecture (100+ services) leveraging DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile practices.

• Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of systems used in global financial markets.

• Take full ownership of the application lifecycle – from development and testing to deployment and production monitoring.

• Collaborate closely with global teams across London, Toronto, and Guangzhou.

• Ensure application security by adhering to internal cybersecurity standards and remediating vulnerabilities as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience as a Java full stack engineer with strong knowledge of microservices and Spring Boot.

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.

• Familiarity with relational database technologies (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL); MongoDB is a plus.

• Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience in financial services or investment banking is a strong advantage.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to clean, high-quality, and secure code.

• Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.

• Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
