Frontend Engineer – React / TypeScript

 

📍 Kraków | Hybrid (2 days per week from the office) 

💼 B2B | 180–220 PLN/h

 

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join a regional EMEA technology team working on the Global Disbursements platform - a large‑scale payments system enabling customers and businesses to move funds quickly and securely across markets.

 

What you will be doing:

• Develop, maintain and support front‑end applications and microservices

• Work with React 18, TypeScript 5, Bootstrap 5 

• Build and support services in collaboration with backend teams using Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot

• Contribute to improving observability and operational tooling for payment flows

• Support automation testing frameworks to reduce testing costs

• Enhance Straight‑Through‑Processing (STP) capabilities of services

• Collaborate with engineering, product and DevOps teams in an Agile environment

 

What we are looking for:

• At least 6 months of experience in the payments/disbursements area 

• Strong knowledge of React 18, TypeScript 5, Bootstrap 5 

• Experience with Java 8+ (Java 17+ is a plus)

• Working understanding of RESTful microservices and APIs 

• Experience with SQL and database technologies

• Previous experience with legacy UX technologies (e.g., JSP)

• Understanding of DevOps ways of working

 

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot 

• Experience working in DevOps delivery teams

• Familiarity with legacy UI technologies
